As Avisita has developed its business model and grown with many new customers, the company has also outgrown its existing system. That’s when Avisita sought help from Mårten Nilsson and SaaS Innova.
– We have been working with an old, self-developed system that is now outdated. Mårten has unique expertise in both business development and system development and understood how a new system should function. Avisita was founded in 1995 as Hotellguiden.se, Sweden’s first online hotel guide. Since then, the company has grown and established itself as the leading booking service for companies needing accommodation solutions for professional workers. The clients are within construction, industry, and infrastructure sectors, and they are spread across the entire Nordic region.
– Our previous system required too much manual handling and did not contribute to streamlining administrative processes. When we began the development work on the new ERP system, we started from how our business looks today. When Mårten joined, he challenged our work processes, which led the development to focus on creating a system that could support the business, no matter how large it becomes.

Avisita's new ERP system automates several processes that were previously performed manually. In addition to the booking system itself, quotations, administration, and invoicing will be managed within the system. It also allows customers to make their own bookings, which eliminates a lot of duplicate work for Avisita’s employees.
– The automated processes in the new system support provide us with higher quality and greater control, which will allow us to take on both more and larger clients. Alongside the system development, Mårten’s work has also led us to improve processes and routines – this has resulted in organizational development that has allowed us to make significant strides forward, both in business and organizationally.
The first version of the new ERP system will be launched shortly, and the new features will then be implemented gradually.
